North Iowa Events Center will host the 2018 PGI convention and fireworks displays,
one of the largest fireworks shows on the planet.
These incredible shows will take place on
Sunday, August 5, Tuesday, August 7, and
Friday, August 10 at North Iowa Events Center
in Mason City.
The shows will begin at dusk with gates opening at 6pm.
General Admission (Non-Refundable)
Sunday & Tuesday Shows (On Or Before July 22): $18
Sunday & Tuesday Shows (After July 22): $20
Friday Show: $18 (On Or Before July 22)
Friday Show: $20 (After July 22)
Reserved Seating (Non-Refundable)
Friday Show: $25 (Sections A, B, F & G)
Friday Show: $30 (Sections C, D & E)
No reserved seating available for Sunday & Tuesday Shows.
Children (age 5 and under) do not require tickets for Sunday/Tuesday shows.
Everyone must have a ticket for Friday's show.

The Pyrotechnics Guild International, Inc., was founded in 1969 and is an independent worldwide nonprofit organization of amateur and professional fireworks enthusiasts. Its educational and scientific purposes are to promote the safe and responsible display and use of pyrotechnics and fireworks, encourage the display of public and private fireworks in conjunction with local and national holidays as well as patriotic and other events, promote the production and sale of high quality fireworks and channel the creative energies of talented people into the design, production and display of high quality fireworks by example of the membership and through the sharing of knowledge.
WHAT TIME DO GATES OPEN?
Gates open at 6pm each show night.
WHAT TIME DO THE FIREWORKS START?
The fireworks will start at dusk each night. The exact time is up to the PGI members running the show.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF A SHOW IS CANCELLED?
Cancellations and other notices will be posted on the PGI's Facebook Page and shared via the PGI's
Twitter account: @PGIInc.
IS THERE PARKING?
Yes, North Iowa Events Center will offer parking.
WHAT TYPE OF SEATING SHOULD I EXPECT FOR THE EVENT?
Grandstand/bleacher style seating.
CAN I BRING MY OWN CHAIR?
No. Reserved seating is offered in addition to general admission seating, but no outside chairs will be permitted for the event.
CAN I BRING MY "STADIUM SEAT?"
Yes, "stadium seats" (to be utilized with bleacher seating) will be permitted.
WILL THERE BE FOOD?
Yes, concessions, beverages and alcohol (age 21 and over) will be available for purchase at each show.
WHAT IS THE SMOKING POLICY?
The Grandstand at North Iowa Events Center is a smoke-free environment.
Smoking, including use of e-cigarettes, is not permitted within the venue.
WILL MY BAG BE INSPECTED?
For safety reasons, North Iowa Events Center reserves the right to inspect bags and other items brought on property. Coolers and outside food/beverage are not allowed. Exceptions are made for patrons with medical conditions that need to keep medications cooled. Refusal to comply will result in denied entry.
